Direct searches	directSearches	Integer	The number of times resource was shown when searching for location directly
Location Name	locationName	String	Location name should reflect your business's real-world name, as used consistently on your storefront, website, and stationery, and as known to customers.
Discovery searches	discoverySearches	Integer	The number of times the resource was shown as a result of a categorical search (for example, restaurant).
Chain (Brand) searches	brandedSearches	Integer	The number of times a resource was shown as a result of a search for the chain it belongs to, or a brand it sells.

In the GBP Free connector there are some metrics that are created with calculated fields. These aggregate metrics are not part of GBP Pro but can be easily created with a formula in Data Studio.

Total Searches	SUM(IFNULL(directSearches, 0) + IFNULL(brandedSearches , 0)+ IFNULL(discoverySearches , 0))

Note: Basic formulas often show 'No Data' when working with BigQuery Data Sources, so please use the above formulas as a guide to get past that issue. If you run into any issues please get in contact with support who will be happy to work through your reporting needs.

Calculated Fields in Data Studio

Within Data Studio you can choose to create a calculated field at the Data source level or chart-specific. Wherever possible we recommend to create them at the Data Source level so you can easily reuse the metric across your report without having to maintain multiple formulas.
