Two-way source

Change campaigns without leaving the conversation

Google Ads is one of the sources Jepto can write back to. Ask for a change in Data Chat or from any MCP client, and Jepto shows you exactly what it is about to do before anything runs.

Write-back actions

Control Google Ads from chat or MCP

Pause spend, nudge budgets, or retarget CPA and ROAS without opening the Google Ads UI — with a preview and explicit confirm every time.

  • Pause or enable a campaign
  • Pause or enable an ad group
  • Update a campaign daily budget
  • Adjust a target CPA or target ROAS

Every action requires explicit confirmation.

Setup

Connecting Google Ads

Google OAuth. One manager login can cover every client you manage.

  1. 1. Sign in with Google

Sign in with a Google account that has at least read access to the Google Ads account, or to the manager account above it.

  2. 2. Choose accounts to include

Select which Google Ads accounts to connect. One manager login can cover every client you manage.

  3. 3. Share the connection to a client

Share the connection to a client to create a data source. The same connection can be shared to as many clients as you need.

  4. 4. Wait for the first sync

Jepto backfills up to 25 months of history, then syncs hourly.

Anyone on your team can add, edit or remove connections — Jepto does not use permission roles. If a client moves between agencies, recreate the data source under the new client rather than moving it.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Google Ads in Jepto.

Yes. Once both are connected to the same client, any report or chart can use fields from either source, and Data Chat can answer questions that span the two.

Jepto backfills up to 25 months on the first sync, matching what the Google Ads API makes available.

Plans include a set number of data sources. One Google Ads account shared to one client is one data source. Add-on packs extend the limit without moving you up a tier.

Yes. Asset groups, listing groups and asset-level performance all come through as their own entities.

Jepto flags the connection in the app and stops it from silently reporting stale numbers. Reconnecting takes one sign-in and the missing days backfill automatically.
