Setup

Connecting Google Search Console

Sign in with a Google account that has access to the Search Console property.

1. Sign in with Google

Click Connect and authenticate with the Google account that has access to your client's Search Console property.
2. Select the property

Choose the site or domain property. Add additional connections for more properties.
3. Share the connection to a client

Assign it to the relevant client so reports and forecasts can pull from it.
4. Start reporting

Up to 16 months of history is ready to report on, and stays up to date as Google publishes new data.

The Google account you use to connect must maintain access to the Search Console property. If access is lost, syncing stops. Reconnect with a valid account to resume. Search Console data typically lags by 2–3 days from Google.

1. Can I combine Search Console with Google Ads in one report?

Yes. Once both are connected to the same client, any report can blend organic queries with paid search terms for a complete search picture.

2. How far back does the historical data go?

Up to 16 months of history is available to report on, from the moment you connect.

3. Why is my latest data a few days behind?

Search Console data has a reporting delay from Google — typically 2–3 days. Jepto syncs daily as soon as Google publishes the data.

4. Does each Search Console property count towards my plan limits?

Yes. Each property connection counts as one data source.

5. What happens if the connection breaks?

If the Google account loses access, Jepto stops syncing new data but keeps history already pulled. Reconnect with a valid account to resume.
