Starting prices from each vendor's own pricing page, how per-client, per-source, per-dashboard and flat pricing work, and what 10 and 25 clients cost on each tool.

Last updated: November 6, 2026. Agency reporting software costs $0 to about $700 a month to start. The real gap shows as you grow, because each tool charges by something different: clients, data sources, dashboards or a flat tier. For a 25-client agency, the monthly bill runs from about $150 to over €699. Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) is the only free option, but you pay for connectors and staff time instead.

Below are the starting prices from each vendor's own pricing page, how each pricing model works, and what 10 and 25 clients cost on each tool.

How each pricing model works

The pricing model decides how fast your bill grows, more than the starting price does.

Per client

Every new client adds a fee, so the bill grows in a straight line. AgencyAnalytics works this way.

Per data source

Every connected account adds a fee, and clients are unlimited. A client on five channels costs five times one on a single channel. Jepto ($1 per extra source), Swydo ($4.50) and Databox work this way.

Per dashboard

You buy packs of dashboards, usually one per client. Outgrow a pack and you jump a plan: $164 to $324 on DashThis.

Flat tier

One price for a bundle of data sources. Outgrow it and you jump to the next plan or buy credits. Whatagraph Max starts at €699 for 50 sources.

‍

What 10 and 25 clients cost on each tool

At 25 clients, Jepto costs $149 a month, against $500 on AgencyAnalytics and over €699 on Whatagraph. We assume each client has 3 data sources (for example Google Ads, GA4 and Meta Ads), so 30 sources for 10 clients and 75 for 25. Prices use monthly billing where the vendor offers it (AgencyAnalytics and Whatagraph only list annual billing). Jepto has no client limit: its price depends only on data sources, so a client with one source costs less than one with five.

The true cost of "free" Data Studio

Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) costs nothing to use, but an agency still pays in two ways: connector fees and staff time.

  • Connector fees: Google's own sources (Google Ads, GA4, Search Console) are free. Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok and most other channels need a partner connector, sold by a third party on its own subscription.
  • Staff hours: someone builds each client report, fixes broken connectors and updates date ranges. At 1 hour per report, 25 clients take 25 hours a month, about 3 workdays.

What 25 clients really cost each month

Example: 1 hour per report at $50/hour

Data Studio$1,250+
Jepto$149
Software $0Partner connectors (varies)25 staff hours ≈ $1,250Jepto plan, AI builds the reports

Illustration with example numbers. Your hours, rates and connector fees will differ.

Jepto, with unlimited clients, covers those 25 clients (75 data sources) for $149 a month, and its AI builds the reports and writes the summaries. See what your client count costs on Data Studio alternatives, or every plan on Jepto pricing.
